What does Ready Set Eat do?
Ready Set Eat helps you plan your family's meals for the week. You add your recipes, pick which ones to cook each day, and the app builds your grocery list for you.Is the app free?
Yes, Ready Set Eat is free to download and use.Do I need an iCloud account?
Yes. The app uses iCloud to save your recipes and meal plans. Your data is stored in your personal iCloud account, not on our servers.How do I add a recipe?
Tap the plus button on the Recipes screen. You can type in a recipe by hand or paste a URL from a cooking website and the app will try to fill in the details for you.Can I share a recipe with someone?
Yes. Open any recipe and tap the share button. The app creates a small file you can send by text or email. The person who gets it can open it in Ready Set Eat and it will be added to their recipe list.How do I plan my meals for the week?
Go to the Meal Plan tab. Tap any day to assign a recipe to it. You can also tap the magic wand button and the app will suggest recipes for you based on your ratings and how recently you cooked each one.How does the grocery list work?
Once you have meals planned, go to the Grocery List tab. The app combines all the ingredients from your planned meals into one list. You can check off items as you shop and add extra items by hand.Can my spouse or partner see my meal plan?
Yes. Go to Settings and tap Family Sync. You can invite one other person using their iCloud email address. Once they accept, you will both share the same recipes, meal plan, and grocery list.What happens if I lose my phone or get a new one?
Your recipes and meal plans are saved to iCloud. When you sign in to iCloud on your new phone and install Ready Set Eat, everything will be there.What is the Picky Eaters feature?
Picky Eaters is coming soon. It will let you mark which family members skip certain ingredients so the grocery list can be adjusted for your household.Does the app connect to my calendar?
Yes, if you want it to. In Settings you can turn on the calendar option. The app will look at your calendar when suggesting recipes and can prefer quicker meals on busy days.Does Ready Set Eat collect my personal data?
No. The app does not collect, sell, or share your personal information. Your recipes and meal plans stay in your iCloud account.
